This isn't the first time the game's been delayed: back in November 2019, the game was pushed to 2020 via a video in which the game's narrator reads letters from 'fans' and graciously accepts their 'request' to delay the game until 2020. 'Borrowing' the layout of the delay announcements for Halo Infinite and Deathloop, as well as the format for Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the devs delivered a humorous, slightly patched-together message about the game's delay, and cite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic as the cause. It's now been pushed back to 2021, As usual, the devs revealed the news in their own quirky way this time with an interesting copy-and-paste technique on Twitter:
